Mrs. DeLyte Schultz is our teacher for grades 3 and 4. Daily Class Schedule
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. back in the days when it was known as Dr. Martin Luther College. My teaching career started in Algoma, Wisconsin at St. Paul's LutheranSchool where I taught 3rd and 4th grade. Due to marriage and several moves, I taught 3rd grade at an Air Force military school in Warner Robbins, GA. and then in a Headstart Program on the Cass Lake Indian Reservation in Cass Lake, MN. Since 1981, I have been teaching at Salem. I taught Kindergarten until 1997, when I began teaching 3rd and 4th grade. When not at school, I enjoy time with family (including 7 grandchildren) and friends, gardening, reading, and traveling.

Mrs. Merry Leerssen is our teacher for Grades 1 and 2. She also serves as our school music coordinator. Daily Class Schedule
I grew up in Wood Lake, MN. After graduating from Martin Luther Academy in 1979, I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, from which I graduated in 1983. My  first teaching assignment was to teach 1st grade at St. John’s in Baraboo, WI.  The following year, I filled the 3rd Grade teacher position and continued teaching 3rd grade for 6 more years. In 1990, I married my husband Dennis and moved to a farm between Rockford and Buffalo. Since then we have been busy raising our 3 children. Since receiving my call, I have gone back to school to get ready to enter the classroom. Teaching children in the Lutheran grade school is something I am excited to get back into. I look forward to working with the students at Salem both in the 1st and 2nd grade as well as in the music program.

Mrs. Kathy Strong serves as our teacher for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. She also is our librarian. Daily Class Schedule

Pastor Dennis Strong serves as Superintendent and teaches Catechism to students in Grades 7 and 8.

He served from 1983 to 1996 at Zion Lutheran Church (Allenton, Wisconsin) and St. Peter's Lutheran Church (West Bend, Wisconsin). In 1996, he began his pastoral duties at Salem Lutheran Church.
